Yerel teknik verileri cihazda tutmak veri maruziyetini sınırlar.
Peron is a desktop application that shows open ports on your computer and the processes using them. The developer and data controller is M. Burak Altıparmak.
- Peron has no accounts, advertising, telemetry or analytics.
- Ports, processes, command lines, folder paths and resource usage are processed on your device.
- Data leaves your device only through feedback, update checks or SSH connections that you initiate or enable.
Local system access
Peron reads the following technical information from the operating system to provide its core functionality:
- TCP and UDP connections, including local and remote addresses, ports, state and timing information
- Process ID, process and parent name, executable, command line, working directory and project folder
- Process CPU, memory and disk usage, and process start time
- Operating system, device name and elevation state for the interface and user-initiated exports
Optional feedback
If you submit the Contact form, your message and category; optional name and reply email; and, when selected, the Peron version, operating system and app language are delivered to the developer through Web3Forms.
Submission occurs through your explicit action and consent. Web3Forms may see your IP address when you connect. Messages remain in the developer’s mailbox until the matter is closed and for no longer than 24 months.
Update checks
A build downloaded from the website or GitHub checks published releases through the GitHub API at most once a day when this option is enabled. GitHub may see your connection IP address. You can disable the check in Settings.
The Microsoft Store build does not perform this check; Microsoft Store manages its updates.
Data stored on your device
The following information is kept locally in your user account’s application data directories:
- Language, theme, filter, reminder, startup and update preferences
- Port history: open/close time, process, PID, project and addresses; up to 30 days or 2,000 events
- The name, SSH target and port of remote servers you add; Peron does not store SSH keys or passwords
- Feedback send times for abuse limits, retained for no more than 24 hours
- A technical log limited to about 1 MB under Documents\Peron\Logs on Windows; it contains no port list or command lines
- TXT, CSV or JSON exports written to Downloads only when you request them
Remote server view
When you add a server, Peron uses the SSH client and existing SSH keys on your computer to run peron-cli on that server. Port and process information travels directly from your server to your computer over encrypted SSH.
This information is not sent to the developer or another service. Peron does not start a service, open a port on the server, or store your SSH credentials.
Your controls and deletion
You can view, export or clear port history in the History tab and open or delete logs through Settings. If your Documents folder is synchronized with OneDrive, Microsoft may synchronize the logs to your account.
Windows removes Store app data when the app is uninstalled; Documents\Peron\Logs can be deleted manually. The site/GitHub uninstaller enables “Delete application data” by default.
Process termination and security
Peron ends a process only after you explicitly approve the confirmation dialog. The action occurs locally or, in remote view, through your direct SSH connection.
Keeping technical information local limits its exposure. Peron is maintained with safeguards appropriate to its functionality, although no software method eliminates every risk.
Children, rights and changes
Peron is a developer utility and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
You may request a copy, correction or deletion of feedback you submitted by email. Requests are answered within 30 days, without affecting rights available under GDPR or Turkish KVKK.
When features or data practices change, this policy is updated at the same address with a new effective date. Material changes are also identified in release notes.
